The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNF) has awarded a total of 1.08 million francs to three research projects and the extension of an SNF professorship at the University of Lucerne. One of these projects is exploring health apps in greater detail. The second project is focusing on health insurance premiums, while the third is about the future of European private law. The resources will be used to fund the salaries of project staff and cover further research expenses associated with carrying out the projects.
The SNF professorship is a tool for career advancement that enables a new generation of exceptional scientists to conduct research projects at a Swiss university of their choice with their own team to manage. This year, a professorship in the Philosophy faculty of the University of Lucerne was backed.
