The University of Lucerne is launching a new degree course entitled Lucerne Master in Computational Social Sciences (LUMACSS) in autumn 2019, it was reported in a press release. The masters course will focus on the impact of digitalization on modern polities, economies and society. It will also cover topics in the field of humanities and social sciences. The University of Lucerne cites big data, the digital economy and ethics as examples. Furthermore, the master's degree will include the module Computational Sciences and Digital Skills.
