The Swiss Office of Energy (BFE) and Swiss Krono AG in Menznau are organizing a joint information event on ProKilowatt, according to a press release. This BFE program supports companies in working with greater energy efficiency. If offers cost coverage of up to 30 percent for sustainable measures that had previously not been implemented on economic grounds. According to data from the BFE, projects that require a minimum of 70,000 francs in investment are supported. The companies should strive to save as much energy per franc in funding as possible. The funding comes from a surcharge added to the power supply and amounts to as much as 50 million francs per year.
