Swiss Akamani to launch eye mask to regenerate the body

Root - The eye mask developed by Swiss Akamani is based on the company’s proprietary S.R.A. technology: A high-tech film inside the eye mask reflects electromagnetic waves emitted by the body. The aim here is to activate the body’s cells to stimulate rapid regeneration.

Swiss Akamani is set to launch its ñawi eye mask on the market. The company speaks of «needleless acupuncture» with which the eye mask is designed to stimulate the body’s own healing powers. The large eye mask contains a high-tech reflector film on the inside, a proprietary development by Swiss Akamani. This reflects the electromagnetic waves emitted by the wearer’s own body and radiates them back.

This proprietary biophoton technology makes use of the fine light pulses that every living cell emits over 100,000 times per second. The reflector patches reflect coherent light at the relevant wavelength, which enters the body via the meridians and the autonomic nervous system.

A scientific study has shown that this leads to self-stimulation of the body’s cells and therefore to activation of the microcirculation in the body. Moreover, as the company based at Technopark Luzern underlines, this occurs «without magnets or electrical impulses from the outside and without chemical additives from the inside». According to Managing Director Annamarie Huber the company’s aim is «to develop easy-to-use solutions for optimal regeneration of the body, thereby promoting vitality and performance in a natural way».

Sales are arranged via the online shop directly to end customers, but also to specialist retailers too. The development of new B2B sales channels for specialist stores in the fields of sports, wellness, wellbeing and lifestyle is reportedly in progress. Moreover, B2C customers could distribute the eye masks to their employees as part of occupational health management activities.
