Schurter to sell product range in the USA via Hughes-Peters

Lucerne/Dayton - Schurter is expanding its distribution network in the USA after agreeing a partnership with Hughes-Peters. The distributor for industrial electronics will offer the Schurter product range of electronic components via its eight branches across the country.

Schurter has entered into a partnership with Hughes-Peters, a company based in the US State of Ohio. Alongside its headquarters in Dayton, the company operates out of seven other branches across North America. This «renewed relationship» with the largest distributor for industrial electronics will enable Schurter to expand its distribution network, as the company states in a press release.

With this agreement, the Lucerne-based producer and supplier of electronic components, input systems and end-to-end electronic solutions is seeking to improve product availability with regard to the fuses, circuit protection devices, connectors and switches it offers in the USA. The focus will reportedly be on a customer-centric approach and a commitment to providing cutting-edge technology.

«We are excited to again formally partner with Hughes-Peters, a company known for its outstanding service and industry expertise», comments Leonard Overholser, General Manager/VP Americas at Schurter. «This collaboration aligns with our growth strategy.»

Schurter has representative offices in 60 countries worldwide and partners with more than 200 distributors. The components and system solutions developed by the technology company are used in the telecommunications and computer industries, for industrial automation, engineering and medical technology applications, as well as in measuring devices.
