Schurter opens office in Hong Kong
Lucerne/Hong Kong - Schurter has opened a new office in Hong Kong. With this new office, the manufacturer of electronic components intends to advance its strategic expansion across Asia.
The Lucerne-based global electronic components manufacturer Schurter has opened a new office in Hong Kong. As detailed in a press release, the newly opened office is designed to reflect the company’s strategic focus on the Asian market.
«We are committed to developing China and India into the Schurter Group’s operational bases in Asia to enhance our ability to serve the market and our customers», as Oswald Fiegl, COO of the Schurter Group, explains in the press release.
Following the relocation of the Asian headquarters from Singapore to Hong Kong and the renaming of the business serving this market to Schurter Electronics Hong Kong Ltd. in 2024, the company successfully emphasized its continental orientation. At the same time, the capacities and production facilities in China were integrated in the new project, as Guanghua Yang, General Manager and Vice President of the Asia Region, states in the press release. «Schurter Asia has tremendous growth potential», he adds.
