Obrist interior celebrates 130-year anniversary
Inwil - In 2025, Obrist interior AG in the canton of Lucerne is looking back at 130 years of company history. With its celebrations, the specialist for top-quality shop and residential interiors will above all honor its employees. Obrist interior is currently in the final of the Prix SVC Central Switzerland award.
Obrist interior AG will celebrate the company’s 130th anniversary this year. According to a press release, since being founded as a small workshop in 1895, Obrist interior has become «a global leader in the field». With its celebrations in the anniversary year, the specialist for top-quality shop and residential interiors plans to above all honor its employees. «We would not be where we are today were it not for their skill, dedication and drive for maximum customer satisfaction,» commented CEO and owner Stefan Slamanig in the press release.
Obrist interior’s recipe for success is based on entrepreneurial agility, the company explains. From its headquarters in Inwil, it has reportedly been implementing innovative technologies such as CNC machines, 3D print, virtual reality and lean management long before it was standard in the industry. «In transport logistics and local assembly, we also only work with the best in the business and for the purposes of quality assurance always have our own experts supporting on the ground,» explained Chief Sales Officer Corrado Tona.
In the press release, CEO Slamanig additionally outlined the plans for expansion in Inwil that were announced last year. A modular concept will be implemented to create more space for further employees, added manufacturing capacity, research and co-working. At present, Obrist interior is among the four companies to make the final of the Prix Central Switzerland 2025 award run by the Swiss Venture Club.
