IRISgo expands into Germany
Horw - Cup manufacturer IRISgo has now launched its eponymous product on the German market. The sustainable reusable cup producer hopes that this new market entry will enable it to expand its business idea.
The IRISgo thermal cup is now available on the German market. IRISgo, which is based in Horw in the Swiss canton of Lucerne, has announced in a post on LinkedIn that its expansion into Germany will enable it to offer a broader range of products. As well as its cups, IRISgo also sells a number of additional products and accessories.
The company is aiming to make further progress towards sustainability: the reusable cups offer an alternative to disposable products. The name IRISgo is derived from the cup closure system, which resembles the iris diaphragm (aperture) on a camera. This system is leakproof, keeps the drink either hot or cold and ensures its aroma can be enjoyed. The opening is large enough to enable easy and convenient use. The company says its reusable cups are also easy to clean. The product has already been on the market for four years in Switzerland.
