Golf Sempach opening indoor training center
Hildisrieden - Golf Sempach in the canton of Lucerne will soon offer a new indoor golf facility for practice all year round. The training center will be opened on 17 January 2025. State-of-the-art technology and an integrated gym will allow training to the highest standard.
Golf Sempach is expanding its golf offering with an indoor area. According to a press release, golfers in Hildisrieden will be able to train in first-class conditions indoors as of 17 January 2025. Maximum training efficiency is ensured through state-of-the-art technology. Projections are used to create precise target lines for putting on the indoor green. The practice green for pitching and chipping enables the effective training of all types of golf swing.
In the stroke analysis, radar systems provide detailed club and ball data consisting of more than 40 parameters. In addition to data collection, a movable floor simulates the changing slope of the ground. Three high-speed cameras also capture every angle of movement and ball contact for later video analysis.
In the gym, golfers can work on endurance, stability and strength on the latest generation of Technogym equipment and thereby establish «the perfect basis for a biodynamically optimized and precise controlled golf swing».
Golf Sempach writes that the the performance center sets a new standard across Europe. «The high-end technology meets professional tour standards and gives ambitious players in Switzerland access to world class training facilities,» said Daniel Weber, CEO and owner of Golf Sempach.
