Creaitor AG raises 500,000 Swiss francs in pre-seed round

Lucerne - The software company Creaitor AG has successfully concluded a pre-seed funding round and raised 500,000 Swiss francs. The funds will be used to expand the market presence in Europe and beyond.

According to a press release, Creaitor AG, a start-up based Lucerne, Switzerland, has successfully concluded a pre-seed financing round. The investment was led by Backbone Ventures with the involvement of Gentian Investments in Sarnen in the Swiss canton of Obwalden, SICTIC based in Zurich, and several private investors. Creaitor raised 500,000 Swiss francs during the round. Backbone Ventures with headquarters in Zurich and Frankfurt arranges early-stage investments in founding teams, above all from the DACH region.

The press release goes on to state that the funds will further strengthen Creaitor AG’s content generation and optimization tools and expand the market presence in Europe and beyond. Simon Funk, CEO and Founder of Creaitor AG, commented: «With this financing, we can further develop our technologies and offer even more powerful solutions to our customers worldwide.»

Creaitor was founded by Funk in 2022 and specializes in developing solutions based on artificial intelligence (AI) that aim to revolutionize the content creation process according to the company’s press release. Michael McCrae, who joined the founding team later on, is said to bring extensive experience in scaling start-ups and play a decisive role in the company’s current growth phase.

Creaitor AG states that its platform provides a comprehensive offering of tools ranging from idea finding and content generation to optimization, which significantly increase the productivity and efficiency of content creators. The company adds that the platform enables enterprises to efficiently create and optimize high-quality content through a variety of AI assistants and support for more than 40 languages.
