Canton of Lucerne Supports Innovative Climate and Energy Projects – Call for Applications in 2025

Luzern - Six pilot projects focused on climate protection and energy efficiency in the Canton of Lucerne will receive financial support. The next application round opens in January 2025, providing further innovative projects with the opportunity to be implemented.

In collaboration with Lucerne University of Applied Sciences (HSLU), the Canton of Lucerne is supporting innovative pilot projects in the fields of climate protection, climate adaptation, and energy efficiency. Six projects will receive a total of CHF 300,000 in funding. These include a mobility platform for the Lucerne area, an educational program on climate protection for schools, and an E-car sharing model in Luthern.

Starting in January 2025, new applications for pilot projects can be submitted. Selected projects will receive up to 50% of their project costs, with a maximum of CHF 100,000 in funding. The initiative aims to promote the transfer of knowledge from research to practice and accelerate the implementation of innovative solutions.
