Root - Amphasys will be taking part in the CYTO conference in Edinburgh, Scotland, from May 4-8, where the company based at Technopark Luzern will present its cell analyzer Ampha X30. Additionally, CTO Marco Di Berardino has been invited as a speaker on commercial cytometry beyond biomedicine.

Amphasys will be attending the international conference CYTO 2024. This year, the event will be taking place in Edinburgh, Scotland, from May 4-8. It is organized by the International Society for Advancement of Cytometry which refers to the measurement of the number and characteristics of cells.

According to a press release, the international provider of innovative solutions for impedance flow cytometry based at Technopark Luzern in Root in the canton of Lucerne will present its cell analyzer Ampha X30 at booth 24. This device analyses a broad spectrum of various cell types such as those from bacteria, mammals, insects, algae or yeast.

According to information provided by the company, the newly developed technology platform enables high-precision determination of cell viability, concentration, differentiation, and cell status. This information must be considered during the scaling up process when increasing production of biofuels, bioplastics, enzymes, pharmaceuticals, or ethanol.

The company’s CTO, Dr. Marco Di Berardino, has been invited to speak in a panel of experts on the subject «Innovation and Technology for Cell Analysis in Unique Applications» on May 4. He commented: «At our booth and in the podium discussion, we hope to demonstrate our competence in cell analysis and show that we can fill a gap in bioprocess monitoring on a cellular level.» It is possible to book a private appointment with Amphasys' New Business Development Manager, Dr. Furkan Gökçe, by e-mail.
