Ambassador of Brazil Fonseca Buzzi travels to Lucerne
Lucerne/Weggis - Fonseca Buzzi, the Ambassador of Brazil to Switzerland, visited Lucerne on May 15. The focus was on cultural, political, and economic exchange with Fabian Peter, President of the Cantonal Government of Lucerne. They visited Thermoplan AG in Weggis together.
The ambassador of Brazil to Switzerland, Fonseca Buzzi, visited the canton of Lucerne on May 15. President of the Cantonal Government Fabian Peter received the diplomat, who was welcomed to the government building by a Brazilian delegation. According to a press release from the canton, the visit primarily focused on the exchange of cultural, political, and economic experiences as well as current issues.
After a tour of the historic premises, such as the regional government’s meeting room and the assembly chamber, the delegation travelled to Weggis by boat, where Adrian Steiner presented Thermoplan AG. As the company’s CEO, he led the delegates through the Swiss headquarters. Thermoplan manufactures fully automatic coffee machines for professional use in gastronomy and industry. Approximately 500 members of staff are employed at the headquarters.
According to the press release, the Lucerne government keeps in regular contact with representatives of foreign countries in Switzerland. The talks are said to be important for the canton’s foreign relations and a valuable opportunity to positively position Lucerne as an attractive location for living and economic area.
