The hostettler group is one of the powerful economic engines of Central Switzerland. The group's 13 companies - twelve of which are trading companies - employ over 950 people. Founded in 1906, the hostettler group is active nationally in the motorcycle, automotive, consumer electronics and bicycle sectors. Internationally, the group has strengthened its position by acquiring companies in the European bicycle market. The retail group maintains a logistics hub for Europe in southern Germany.
The Group will continue to develop along its core competencies: as general importer of the market-leading motorcycle brand Yamaha for Switzerland, as importer and manufacturer of the bicycle brands BIXS and Wheeler and as owner of the globally distributed clothing and accessories brand iXS for motorcycle and bicycle enthusiasts. As a trading company, hostettler ag concentrates on importing accessories and clothing from well-known brands for scooters and motorcycles and their riders. With eight branches in German- and French-speaking Switzerland, hostettler moto ag is also active in the retail business and sells motorcycles and scooters from Yamaha, Ducati, Kawasaki, KTM and Vespa.
