Founded in 1939, Balthasar employs around 80 people and produces and markets products for life and living. Its core competence is the production of high-quality candles, of which around 7,000 tons leave the production facility in Hochdorf every year. The traditional Seetal-based company is the Swiss industry leader and is now in its third generation of family management.
